You can buy it from Leg Eater in the Fungal Wastes for 600 Geo. Having the Defender's Crest charm makes him lower the cost to 480 Geo. It will break upon death, but if you give it to Divine, she will make it unbreakable for 15000 Geo.

In-game events

After being paid, Leg Eater opens his Charm shop and sells Fragile Charms that break upon death. He provides a repair service for broken Charms in exchange for a fee. If the Knight wears the Defender's Crest Charm, he appreciates the smell and sells and repairs his Charms at a 20% discount.

If Divine has a Charm currently consumed when the Grimm Troupe is banished, then it is left on the ground, still in its Fragile form, when returning to Dirtmouth.

During the Radiance fight, if players haven't upgraded them to Unbreakable, Fragile Heart or Strength can still break. However, they can be useful for the fight.

When you've reached this status, you are susceptible to taking double the amount of damage from enemies. It's worth noting that you will still receive the benefits of the charm, and no matter how many notches over that minimum you go, you'll still only take twice the damage.

Charms such as Longnail or Mark of Pride and Quick Slash are hugely beneficial during this fight, as players will be able to get in more hits while also maintaining a safer distance from both Lost Kin and the Infected Balloons.

If your soul meter has broken, it is because you died somewhere. Go back to where you died and find the Shade you left behind, destroying it will restore your Soul meter.

Nightmare king is way harder than Radiance. Radiance, while hitting hard is so much slower than Nightmare king Grimm that he is kinda easy to dodge. Grimm however is insanely hard to dodge.

Banishment is just that, it ends the whole troupe thing and you get new music in Dirtmouth as well as a charm. The second ending though allows you to fight a new boss, which in my opinion is the better choice. Or at least I'd say it's a better choice if I hadn't been dying to him for almost an hour now.

Grimm always bows to the Knight before the start of the fight. If struck when bowing, he screeches at them and starts the Pufferfish attack.

Strengthens the bearer, increasing the damage they deal to enemies with their nail. This charm is fragile, and will break if its bearer is killed.

The Quick Focus Charm is highly recommended for this battle. Charms like Mark of Pride and Longnail can help extend the Knight's Nail to better match Broken Vessel's. Spore Shroom is useful to get rid of the Infected Balloons while healing as well as dealing extra damage to Broken Vessel.

Otherwise you'll be able to get a lot of geo late-game. No, if you choose Banishment, whatever fragile charms eaten by Divine is gone too (the one haven't exchanged by geo). You can still get the charm by re buying it from legeater.

Usefulness. It is useful for keeping distance from more dangerous enemies and for performing safer Nail-bounces. While it grants a longer range than the Longnail Charm, it is more challenging to acquire and has higher Notch cost.

What happens if you hit the Hollow Knight with the Dream Nail? ›

The Dream Nail is a sacred weapon and talisman, which can cut the veil that separates the waking world from dreams. It appears to have been made by the Moth Tribe. The Dream Nail allows its user to not only read the thoughts of an entity, or even inanimate objects, but also enter specific sections of the Dream Realm.

The specific combo though has to be Weaversong, Grubsong, and Sprintmaster. Grubsong makes the Weaverling spiders from Weaversong give the Knight more Soul on every hit, and Sprintmaster increases their attack speed alongside the Knight's.

Fragile/Unbreakable Heart

Having the Defender's Crest Charm makes him lower the cost to 280 Geo. It will break upon death, but if you give it to Divine, she will make it unbreakable for 12000 Geo. Using it with Hiveblood and Joni's Blessing is very common, and if you're going for spell damage, this is the way to go.

There's a total of 42 different Charms and 11 Charm Notches to find and buy in Hollow Knight. One of them - the last slot in the Charm Collection menu and typically also the last Charm to acquire - is split into three parts, requires some effort to get and is needed for secret alternate endings to the story.
