I haven't tried this recipe yet but it looks delicious. I no longer have an instant pot. Can this recipe be done in a crockpot and, if so, what temperature setting and for how long should I let it cook?

It’s been a while since I made pasta in a slow Cooker. I think it would a lot faster to do it on the stovetop. I included directions to it in the recipe cArd.

    Urvashi,
Have you ever added cottage cheese to the finished mixture and stir until it's warmed and kind of melty? In Pennsylvania, we called it Halushki (lots of Slovaks and Poles in Western PA).

This sure puts a bit of a healthy twist on the traditional Halušky. Thanks for the tip. We make them with shreaded potatoes (potatoes, flour and egg). The dough is dropped into boiling water through a large sieve. Halušky are done when they rise to the surface. The traditional topping is sheep milk cheese called bryndza and crispy bacon cut up in tiny squares. It is definitely a comfort food! Since we life in Canada and it is not always easy to find the traditional cheese, we have started using shreaded FETA CHEESE. It is a very simple meal, but super delicious.
