AMC has announced the programming coming to the AMC+ streaming service in January. The AMC Plus January 2022 lineup includes a wide variety of critically-acclaimed and commercial-free programming, including compelling new dramas, fan-favorite franchises, and film collections from across the company’s entertainment networks and targeted streaming services.

The AMC Plus January 2022 programming includes the third and final season of Sundance Now/Shudder Original A Discovery of Witches, starring Matthew Goode and Teresa Palmer, and new episodes of AMC+ Original Firebite, a high-octane original spin on the vampire genre set in the South Australian desert.

The AMC Plus January 2022 slate also includes the premiere new AMC+ Original La Fortuna, the first television series from director Alejandro Amenábar, starring Stanley Tucci and Clarke Peters, as well as BBC America’s annual New Year’s Day special for Doctor Who (Season 13), starring Jodie Whittaker, Mandip Gill and John Bishop.

New episodes of AMC+ exclusive The Walking Dead: Episode Diaries, featuring behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with cast and crew covering the latest seasons of The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead, and World Beyond, debut every Thursday until January 20. And new seasons of AMC’s Halt and Catch Fire continue rolling out weekly with Season 4 debuting January 6.

Doctor Who: Eve of the Daleks – New Year’s Day Special Premieres Saturday, January 1
Jodie Whittaker stars in BBC America’s all-new special premiering New Year’s Day. Mandip Gil and John Bishop will also appear in the annual holiday tradition, as well as several notable guest stars including Aisling Bea (This Way Up), Adjani Salmon (Dreaming Whilst Black) and Pauline McLynn (Father Ted).

In the new special, Sarah (Bea) owns and runs ELF storage, and Nick (Salmon) is a customer who visits his unit every year on New Year’s Eve. This year, however, their night turns out to be a little different than planned.

Olympic Dreams – Film Premieres Wednesday, January 5
Set against the splendor of the Winter Olympic Games, an intimate and unexpected love story develops between two lonely hearts, each at their own crossroads in life.
